Remembers: A new book celebrating what makes Britannia great will be published in time for the centennial celebrations in May 2008. Co-editors Clive Cocking ’57 and Ray Culos ’54, together with an editorial team of grads, are preparing a collector’s book packed with stories of wonderful, often eccentric, principals and teachers, star athletes and championship teams, brilliant and bumptious students who went on to excel, and the myriad activities (from waltz teams to big band to wrestling) enriching school life. Above all, the book, richly illustrated with rare photographs, will tell the story of how the sons and daughters of immigrants built Vancouver’s oldest, most unique and best-loved high school.
